About Me
Welcome to my Website.
It shows some of the logos I have digitised over the last 18 years. Also, the font section has most of the fonts I designed for Letraset, plus recent typefaces I designed and produced for ITC who are now a part of the Monotype Imaging Group which also includes Linotype.
A brief History
I started as a lettering artist in the early 60's, working in studios around London. In the late 60's I went freelance. I worked with designers in many companies creating logos for packaging and corporate identities. I also worked with illustrators, lettering directly on to their illustrations.
In the late 70's I started to design Typefaces for Letraset. They taught me how to cut film. I used this method of working for a few years. They then encouraged me to work on a computer, after a half hour lesson with them I totally changed the way I worked.
