What is the Passport font?

For those purchasing their first typewriter fonts and to our diehard collectors as well, PassPort presents a friendly new port-of-entry. A simple set, that is freed of many of the normal distressed points and paths that had made most “typewriters” authentic looking, but difficult to print and manipulate in layouts. It’s smooth nature comes from its impressions struck directly onto a piece of carbon paper bypassing the silk ink ribbon and going directly from metal to carbon paper transferring to a piece paper with very little tooth. Included is a full international character set not found on the old manual “QWERTY” keyboard, and a requirement of today’s design professional. More…
PassPort is a typewriter family of fonts intended for ease of use and affordability. This is a warm font in a cold cruel world and a real port in the storm! It is versatile in today’s layouts.
Historically, PassPort was digitized from a shiny black enamel 1948 Royal Silent Deluxe portable. Kept on the ship of merchant marine, Captain John O’Hara, it was a salty manual typewriter with no intrinsic value as a collectable, even though it is awash as a work horse and communicator of it’s time..
…Please enjoy the fruits of its travels, hoping your destinations and explorations into graphic design and letter composition are happy ones.

Are you looking for a free download of Passport? Most of the fonts on are premium, which means Passport is not a free font.

You won't find Passport as a free download, so I would advise you just to go ahead and pay for it and download Passport HERE. You can find some other great options here on as well that will save you time looking around all over the web.

It is always best to pay for a premium font rather than trying to find an illegal download. The benefits of paying for Passport are that you get the license, and if you're caught using it illegally there could be some potential legal implications with the publisher of this particular typeface.

Furthermore, when searching "free downloads" on Google, most websites will say they have them but these types of offers usually come at a cost - either something like high-pressure sales tactics or getting tricked into downloading malware onto your computer by malicious third parties who want access to all your personal information!

It's just too risky going about finding free fonts online.

If you really want Passport and you want to truly own it the legal and safe way, then click here to visit the download and purchase page on Here you will be able to obtain the proper license. The designer and publisher deserves to be paid for their work, as they have put in the hours and the creativity to produce such an amazing font. Good luck with your purchase and future use of this font. :)
